Wow It's been a while....

So things have really changed since I have written last...We have moved, made an addition to the family and just bought a house in Spanish Fork and are going to move again!



A few updates....Eric is started back in school for computer networking, I am working 4 days a week and the boys are staying with Grandma E during the days when I have to work. Colten is turning 3 and Mason is 7 months.

Some things happening this summer...Eric and I are going on a Cruise to the Western Caribbean with my Parents and all of my siblings and their spouses. Kinda really excited for that! I will try and do better at keep this updated

HAPPY HALLOWEEN from the Flintstones!

yaba daba dooooo! That's right we were the Flintstones for Halloween! Eric and DJ were trying to act like they didn't to do it but we all know they loved it! Well it was fun and I think the kids finally figured it out towards the end.

Pumpkin Patch...

Eric, Colten and I with DJ, Heather and Addie went for search of a pumpkin patch and all we found was a man selling pumpkins in his front yard....I guess you take what you can get.

What a weekend! We went to the Zoo for mom and me day on sat. We had a blast! I got my face painted and Colten got a snake painted on his arm...he was not going to let them touch his face with paint NO WAY! So arm it was! We walked around and looked at all the animals and Colten was pointing at EVERYTHING! it was soo much fun!

Well when we got home after the long day at the zoo we were pooped! And I was already debating if my eyes would see 9 o'clock. So we just got a pizza and hung out with our friends when low and behold Eric got a text at 6:30pm asking if we wanted to go to the Eagles that night....as tired as I was....I ran up stairs changed my clothes and grabbed a jacket and off on the motorcycle we went....EAGLES HERE WE COME! Funny how you can get a surge of energy just like that!

And don't worry we aren't terrible parents we left Colten with Heather & DJ THANKS guys you're the BEST!!!

So we get there and we were on the 23rd row on the floor. IT WAS AMAZING!!!! ah good times!

Helping Pop-pop!

Well I have been inspired by my friend to keep my blog updated...thanks HEATHER! So here's the update... Well we went up to my parents for the day, I needed to get some things done and Colten needed apparently needed to help out pop-pop with fixing the car ...

And who could forget washing the tools too! How does Pop-pop get any work done with out his little helper???

Long time no post....

Yes I know it's been a while I have had a lot of things going on and shifting my world...for starters I got laid off so I have been busy well kinda busy looking for a new job. I'm really trying to find something I can do at home with Colten but so far no luck! And for the most part I have just been home enjoying being a stay at home mommy.

Colten has been keeping me REALLY busy lately, I swear I am constantly cleaning up after him. He has found that its fun to pick things up and move them around, apparently I'm not a good decorator so he's taken it upon himself to move things around. Such a helper!! good thing i love

him! anyway here are some new pictures....

Ok so I guess the cleaning up isn't all that bad if I'm just following him around taking pictures...but look at that face...how could I not! It was just tooo cute!

Colten at work...

Grant bought the "boys" (Colten & Ethan) a car to run around the office in. Keep in mind these boys are under 1. But dont worry it's remote control, SO really i think Grant bought it for himself and is uesing the boys as a cover.

Halloween!

So we had a GREAT Halloween! Colten was a chili pepper, well just for a little bit and then he was SUPER MAN!!! I was a pumpkin, ok not a fun one i just had a orange shirt with a pumpkin face, and Eric was a biker...yes i know far stretch for him right?

Anyway we had lots of fun i'll have to post pictures later! I can't wait for Colten to be a little bigger so he can actually enjoy it too!

It's official...i'm a DORK

Well the tickets for the new Twilight movie that comes out Nov 21st went on sale last Wednesday. AND guess who already has tickets for the midnight showing on Nov 20th. That's right ME!!! and I'm not alone a few of my friends and family member are joining me in this craziness! And I'm even going to work the next day. Some of you night owls may think on no big deal i do it all the time. Let me remind you of my age and my little Colten. I am soon approaching the big 28 in 2 weekish and I'm just not as fun as i used to be i guess. I go to bed anywhere from 9:30-10 OK and sometimes earlier depending on how much sleep Colten let me have the night before. But I'm WAY excited for this movie so I'm going to do the midnight movie!!!! woo hoo! I guess I'll just have to take a nap before so I can make it! hehehe

Just trying to work a little!

Well when Cotlen is done with the swing, bouncer and pack-n-play he normally ends up on my lap. It's starting to get fun with him want to touch and play with things. Let's just say my papers don't stay nice and flat. Oh well what can ya do but laugh a little... and i do!

I'm a little behind....

Well i haven't blogged in a while so i thought i would and what better time then when i should be working...hehehe Well not a lot has been going on in the Elliott house hold. I got a new calling as the RS Secretary, and Colten just turned 4 months! man he's getting BIG! He is already in 9months clothes on the verge of 12 months! He's going through his clothes too fast! It's been fun though.

ah to be little and take naps during the day...

He has now found his voice and will sit and talk to himself a lot. The other day at work he woke up from his little nap in his swing and just started talking away...

I need help...

OK so now that I finally finished the whole Twilight series I am in need of a good book...BUT how do you find good books? I'm really new to this whole seen and would love some advice. I'm a sucker for a good romance...and of course comedy(who doesn't like a good laugh right?) but i really don't care so much for horror or even real events (i can see that on the news enough) i want to get lost in a book and be able to use my imagination. I have started my hunt but i just don't know where to begin. So if you have any good suggestions maybe you should share them with me...I NEED HELP! who knew reading could be so much fun...ah hahaha not me!

Breaking Dawn

I'm finally done! and let me tell you! I LOVED IT! I've heard some of you out there (you know who you are) didn't care for it that much and well I'm sorry you feel that way....I LOVED IT! i think the ending was even better then i imaged it could be...and let me tell you i have a GOOD imagination! ;) hehehe! Brian Regan!

So my mum called me yesterday to see what time we planned on being at Thanksgiving point...and I was puzzled why she would even ask me that random question, so in my normal response...ah i didn't plan on going there tonight. Well she quickly reminded me that Brian Regan was tonight (My parents gave Eric tickets for is Birthday...and happy birthday to me too! i love when i benefit from his presents!)...AH crap I had to find a babysitter and fast! Good thing Eric sister said she could! THANKS LAUREN YOU'RE THE BEST!

So off we went to Thanksgiving Point to see Brian Regan and it was AWESOME! Brian Regan is FREAKIN Hilarius!!! For any of you that don't know who he is you should watch some of his clips!

Shopping with Dad and PaPaw

Well Colten went shopping with Dad and PaPaw to Sportsman's. It was really nice to have time to my self and take a LONG shower. HOWEVER, I'm not to sure if this was a good idea...

Our trip to the Redwood Forest...

Ok we have been back for over a week and i haven't blogged...i know sorry!

Sunday, July 6th, after Colten's baby blessing and brunch we were off....on motorcycles were, Dad & Mum, Justin, and Eric. In the van was... Jesse & Candise, Aurora-7, Alianna-5, and Kyson-2, & Me and almost 2 month old Colten. The first night we drove to Reno, on the way after the sun had gone down and at the last stop before the hotel, i jumped on the bike with Eric, it was a nice little ride, I'm glad i waited for the sun to go down though. Earlier in the day it was in the 100's yikes!

Monday we woke up and started off to San Fransisco! We left and drove through Lake Tahoe on our way, man it was a beautiful drive. Once we got into San Fransisco we went to Pier 49 , ate dinner at Bubba's Shrimp, and walked and played on the pier. Then off to the golden gate bridge...why do they call it the golden gate bridge if it's red? i just was thinking that sorry. ANYWAY by the time we got there it was dark but still beautiful view. We drove for about 50 more miles north and stayed for the night.

Tuesday, July 8 (Eric and I's 2nd Anniversary!) We woke up and drove up the PCH (aka Pacific Coast Hwy) it was a BEAUTIFUL day I jumped on the bike again after one of our stops right before lunch and well let's just say i was a little hot and decided i was done after that for the day, getting back into the van never look so inviting! We stopped early so we could find a hotel with a pool for the guys and the kids to play in and the girls (me, mum and CandiSe) went shopping. ok nothing fun just for more snacks and things for the rest of the trip...hey just walking around was nice.

Wednesday, July 9th off to the Redwoods! Eric had switched with Jesse, so Jesse was driving Eric's bike and Eric drove the van. Man we went through some windy roads and they (everyone on bikes) loved it, i however felt a little car sick, that's how windy they were. But the view was worth it the trees were HUGE and they were even the BIG ones! It got soo hot that Mum, Dad, Jesse and Justin found a river and jumped in it clothes and all. The sad part was they were dry in about 20 min or so, i guess anyone would dry off that fast if it was 109 outside. After that we drove to see the BIG tree that was about 21ft in diameter and about 10 stories high. Man if you are having a fat day go stand by this tree! We even found a tree we could drive through! That was pretty fun! i think the kids really got a kick out of it too!

Thursday, July 10th...we drove all day long and then stopped for lunch and took a little break at a little park, after that i switched with mum and drove with dad on his bike. Man after about 4 hours my little (ok not so little) bum was done! So after the last stop before home i jumped my happy butt in the van!

So that was our little trip Colten did sooo good! he only had one bad day, and wasn't feeling good, other then that we just made sure we got him out of his car seat at every stop, which with the bike was about every 3-4hours to fill up with gas. Over all it was a GREAT TRIP! And i'm glad Cotlen and i tagged along!
